The Technology

How CovelyAir Works

CovelyAir systems use Jonix® Non-Thermal Plasma Technology to generate controlled reactive species that move through the environment and interact with odours, bacteria, viruses and volatile organic compounds.

Unlike a conventional filter-only purifier, the technology supports treatment throughout the room, including the air and exposed surfaces.

Air circulates through the unit

Ambient air from the environment passes through or around the CovelyAir unit continuously and quietly.

Non-Thermal Plasma is generated

Jonix's patented NTP technology generates a controlled plasma field using reactive oxygen species — without heat, UV light, or chemicals.

Contaminants are neutralised

Bacteria, viruses, VOCs and odour-causing molecules are helped to break down at a molecular level as they interact with the plasma field.

Cleaner air returns

Treated air returns to the environment while active reactive species continue to help neutralise contaminants and odours on exposed surfaces.
